The Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden held it’s annual International Chocolate Festival from January 19-21, 2018.
This year’s festival marked 12 years of celebrating chocolate in South Florida. Attendees indulged in chocolate delicacies during the most sought-after event at the Fairchild Garden.
The Garden House was full of vendors offering exquisite chocolate samples and chocolate delicacies for purchase. In addition to the well-known vendors, attendees were able to catch chocolate making demonstrations from Miami’s most well-known chocolatiers and chefs.
The family-friendly event had a ton of fun in store for kids, who loved participating in the ChocoWalk adventure, while collecting “stamps” in their passports along every station of the walk. Kids of all ages learned about the life cycle of the cacao plant, and how the cacao bean is turned into chocolate.
The chocolate festival is truly a favorite yearly event of Fairchild Garden members and non-members alike, as chocolate makers and chocolate connoisseurs together in one glorious spot with beautiful gardens, and tasty treats.
